WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Each week, participants answer three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently reading: I’m continuing to say that I’m reading Interview with the Vampire, even though I haven’t touched it in weeks. I feel this is the week I’m going to be making progress on it, though.
I also started Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco, which I’m really liking. I had no idea what it was going to be about and was completely taken by surprise in a good way. I can’t wait to read more. Audrey Rose continues to be the best, and I love her relationship with Thomas. I love all the characters, actually; they’d just wonderfully done. Also, the cover is so gorgeous. I wish it was my book so I could put it on display somewhere. Alas, it belongs to my sister and I shall have to return it when I’m done.
I’m also continuing with Stephen King’s On Writing. I’d gotten through the part about his background and am now on the next part, which I believe is called “What Writing is” or something to that effect. It’s a very good book and I stayed up much later than I meant to reading it the other night. I love when that happens.
I’m also listening to Beyond the Grave by C.J. Archer, which is the third in the Ministry of Curiosities books. I’m a little annoyed because last book was all “will they or won’t they” and then it seemed to be resolved, but now we’re back to that game again. But the plot is good and I love the narrator, so I’m happy.
I finished Finale by Stephanie Garber a few days ago and absolutely loved it. I wished that there’d been some more time devoted to Scarlett, but overall, I was very satisfied.
Last night, I finished The Jane Austen Society by Natalie Jenner, which is an ARC I got from NetGalley. I loved this book. I was so sweet and gentle and a lot of fun. The characters were wonderful, the plot interesting, and it made me want to reread all teh Jane Austen books right now.
Gosh I don’t know. I have so much to read that it’s hard to choose. I have a bag of books that I bought home from Thanksgiving and I think I’ll just reach inside and pull the first one I touch.
