Top 5 Tuesday

It is Tuesday! Let’s do the Top 5 Tuesday dance! *boogies* Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm. Each week, she gives a topic and participants get to answer. This week’s topic is Top 5 Series I Need to Finish.

So, I think I’m going to have to go with series I need to finish, because the only series I’m not caught up on are ones where I’m still waiting for the books to come out. So, without further ado…

Arc of a Scythe

I need to finish this series. Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman was so amazing and the cliffhanger killed me. I am dying to know what happens next. Seriously, this book needs to be in my hand now. I also need to buy these. I borrowed them from the library, but I will definitely reread this series, so I have to get these books into my hot little hands.

Renegades by Marissa Meyer is another series I need to finish. Now, technically, I haven’t read the second, Archenemies yet, but that’s because I’m waiting for it to get to the library. However, there’s a possibility that this series will be purchases as well. I love superhero universes, and this one centers on a girl that was raised to be a villain and infiltrates the superheroes. It’s complex and interesting and I love the characters.

I’m dying to read Tyrant’s Tomb, which is the last of the Trials of Apollo series by Rick Riordan. I wasn’t super engaged by the second book, and while my memory of the third is… shaky, I remember really liking it. Oh, wait. I think I remember what happened. There were lots of tears. But, yeah, I am totally engaged by Apollo’s journey from being a selfish prick to a more humanized person.

Rebel by Marie Lu is a book I always knew I needed, but never though I’d get. I loved the Legend series. I adore June and Day and was devastated by the last book. And then, Marie Lu announced she had written a fourth book and I was so happy. The release date is drawing near, and I cannot wait.

The Whyborne and Griffin series by Jordan L. Hawk is a series I legit need to catch up on. I devoured the first 9 books. And then, the tenth book came out while I was on a book-buying freeze. Even when I started buying books again, I never got this one. Now, Jordan L. Hawk has announced they’ve written the last book in the series. I need to catch up so I can read that last book.

And those are the book series I need to finish. What series do you need to finish? Drop a comment below and let me know!
