Sunday Post: August 18, 2019

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by the Caffeinated Reviewer . It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week on your blog, and showcase books and things you’ve received. The rules are here: The Sunday Post.

I survived the first week of school! Oooh, boy, is this year going to be interesting. I have a very rambunctious group of kiddos this year. They are imaginative, bright, enthusiastic, and loud. They are definitely going to keep me on my toes.

Yesterday, I got to see Wicked, which was completely awesome. I’ve seen it once before, but there was a lot that I’d forgotten. The best part was I didn’t miss any of it, which I was sure I was. A comic con was going on nearby, and I left later than I meant to so I struggled to find parking. I finally got into my usual parking lot right when the curtain was supposed to go up. Luckily, they held the curtain (just for me?), so I was there from the beginning. The performers were wonderful, and I love the story. I had a wonderful time.

In other news, ThriftBooks is sending me another copy of Mistress of Nothing, so I’ll be able to finish it soonish.
