Another month down the tube. I don’t know about you, but I totally feel the meme that says most months have 30-31 day, except for May which has 1,672 days. As a teacher counting down the days of school, there are definitely too many days in May.
That being said, I had quite a successful month!

In May, I read:
18 books: 11 physical, 4 e-books, 3 audio
5,509 pages (which is an average of 190 pages a day!!!)
I listened to about 14 hours on audio
1 middle grade, 11 YA, and 6 adult books
4 purchases, 13 library books, 1 ARC (I’m so thrilled with my library game!)

An American Duchess by Caroline Fyffe
Aru Shah and the Song of Death by Roshani Chokshi
Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Last Sons of America by Phillip Kennedy Johnson
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
We Rule the Night by Claire Elizabeth Bartlett
Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi
F is for Fugitive by Sue Grafton
Escaping from Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco

All in all, this was a fantastic reading month! I found a lot of great books at the library, I discovered a new wonderful series that I love (even if I’m having difficulties getting all the books in my eager hands) and I’ve continued to post consistently. Plus, I’ve started getting ahead on my reviews, so I’m scheduled at least a week or so ahead!
How was your May? Did you discover any new great reads? Drop a comment below and let me know!
